My creative side developed in high school through newspaper and magazine design. After several years as a stay at home mom of 3 pretty cool kids I decided to study metal smithing at Kendall College of Art and Design and fell in love with something totally new. Metal Smith work is perfect for my active personality. The hammering, forming, sawing and torch work are creative and keep me moving while I'm working. I began selling stamped school necklaces outside the stadium of my kids high school (they were horrified) and continued to create new pieces and try new ideas. I love experimenting; whether its adding color to metal with enamel or creating a bezel for a unique stone to set, each piece is handmade and one of a kind. Hand stamping might be the most personal work I do because it allows me to get to know my customers. I might be adding another initial charm to a mother's necklace or helping someone design a piece that has a meaningful word to inspire or encourage them. These stamped pieces are made with love to share. I love collaborating with clients to help them create exactly what they desire so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have ideas or questions about a piece.
In addition to selling on line, you can also find some of my work at the following stores in Michigan.
